What you need to know
about the
Scholarship Program
Who is eligible?
Families
who could not otherwise afford the program can apply
for scholarship funds. See the chart below to
see if your income falls within the specified
limits.
How
do I apply?
Fill
out the registration form and sign the Liability
Agreement and send it with payment to Big Sky
Learning 1114 Hickox Street, Unit G Santa Fe, NM
87508. You may sign up for two camps under our
scholarship program. When we receive your
application we will contact you and let you know if
we have scholarships available.
How
much does it cost?
Our
scholarship rate is a sliding scale of $25 to
$100 per week (pre and aftercare not
included). Big Sky programs are very expensive
to run and very valuable for the children. We
have limited scholarships available and wish to have
as many children benefit from our program as
possible. Similar programs in other states
cost as much as $1000 per week. With this in
mind, we ask that you pay as much as possible.
We
find that families feel good when they can
offer something in return for their
scholarship. Please consider donating your
time to help us at the camp or at the office.
What
if I don't get a scholarship?
If
we can not provide you with a scholarship we will
either return your payment or use it to hold your
place in line should more scholarships become
available. If your child does not attend a
camp, your money will be refunded in whole.
